Our top three priorities, cleaner streets, safer communities and value for money, are our top three priorities. We have delivered improved, efficient and popular services in all these areas.
This has been underpinned by sound finance, with savings and efficiencies of £50.1 million over the last three years, £38.2 million of which has been ploughed back into services.
It also made possible Ealing's lowest council tax increase for 14 years - at 1.9% the second lowest for an outer London borough.
Our focus on 'visible' services and value for money has been coupled with outstanding achievements in social care, education and community cohesion.
And we have led the way in invigorating partnership working in the borough to ensure greater community participation in decision-making and efficiency in the delivery of public services.
Crucially, this has led to rapidly increased residents’ satisfaction and official recognition of service improvements through assessment and inspection.
